Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training
Rockland County is looking to transform our children’s mental health system of care through the SAMHSA System of Care (SOC) grant.
RCDMH is offering a FREE DBT Skills Training to agencies that are committed to implementing at least 1 DBT skills group in their practice.
This comprehensive training will be held virtually and provide small group ‘break out sessions’, video and one on one interactions. DBT Skills Training will include components that include Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. These skills are shown to assist youth in learning effective problem solving, increasing their ability to tolerate distress, learning to regulate difficult emotions and learning specific strategies in maintaining positive relationships.
For complete details, please see our 2021 DBT Skills Flyer (PDF).
This is a 4 training for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills.
Registrants must attend all 4 days. CEU's can be provided and will be addressed on the first day of training.
